Happen to have an ex on your Foursquare friends list? Don’t want to be seen with him/her, and want to simply avoid an awkward situation?

Luckily for you Foursquare users, a plugin is now available that allows you to avoid specific people, whether it’s an ex or not.

Avoidr gives you the power to hand-select Foursquare friends who you choose to not run into. The plugin will yield a list of places where they are currently checked into. You’re able to label your Foursquare friends with a various terms, such as “jerk,” “doofus” and “stink breath” and then choose to hit “Avoid.”
