It’s a Beautiful Day for Coffee Lovers and Computer Nerds
Yesterday was Social Media Day, but today is almost more important. Here’s the 411:
Today marks an important milestone in Starbucks history. It is July 1, 2010, and the first day that the coffee chain is offering FREE WI-FI in every location!

Previously, Starbucks cardholders could access 2 hours of Internet access (total) through AT&T in the US and through Bell Canada in Canada. Now, Wi-Fi is available to anyone without registration.
Seems like this should have happened a long time ago, but any progress is commendable. Then again, every person and their laptop will be inside Starbucks all the time.
Do you think this is awesome, or do you think Starbucks locations will get too crowded?
